I think everyone is talking about the Rubino's at Wynridge by the Bank of America and Harris Teeters. If you don't like Rubino's, try Manhatten Pizza. Both of these places are real NY style pizza. Sal's is also OK if neither of these please your pallet.

I realize that it's how some places do it, but I'm not a fan of places where the pizzas sit on the counter waiting for someone to order a slice from it and then the slice is reheated. Rubino's is okay, but overpriced for the quality, IMO.

there are two rubinos locations, both the same owner. one in southern walk near glory days, the other in ashbook by home goods and ac moore. we are lucky to have many different pizza styles here, especially since this neighborhood had people from all over the map living in it!

I prefer artisan pizza like not your average joes or fireworks, The Man loves Sals, and The Boy loves Broadlands Pizzeria. there is something for everyone in ashburn when it comes pizza.

There are actually three Rubino's. All owned by the same family (brothers). One is in Herndon and they have a huge crowd at lunch every day.

You can't beat the small $3 pizzas at Not Your Average Joes happy hour, 3 - 6pm. Last time we were there, as we were wrapping up our happy hour, our daughter ordered 2 to go for her boyfriend and they happily obliged.

I for one love Rubinos and was thrilled to see them come into Southern Walk. Since the other one is near my office it's one of my go-tos for a working lunch (free wi-fi). Pizza Margherita is my favorite lunch. It's always very clean, the employees are friendly and very helpful. The table service is a nice touch for a by-the-slice pizza lunch. I've gotten ziti to-go a couple of times for dinner.

Yes, I'm glad they are in Southern Walk as well. I'm much more likely to go (and we have been several times) than when it was an American Flatbread.

Wow, $3 pizzas at Not Your Average Joes. Sounds good. How small are they?

I'm not the greatest judge of size, but I'd say they're about 8" - appetizer size - margherita, bbq chicken and I think the third is veggie. It's only during happy hour, 3 - 6. Not sure, but I think they have half-price full-size appetizers, too, in addition to drinks.

Wait - I forgot! They also give you warm foccacia with olive oil for dipping.

Rubinos - Pretty good pizza with mediocre service.

    Employees
Look at me when I walk in.
Greet me as I approach the counter.
    Thank me when I pay.
Look at me when you deliver my food.
Tell me to enjoy my food and ask me if I need anything else.

Is that to much to ask?
