I've come across a couple of signs put up by Van Metre on wynridge regarding an elevator condominium community. Does anyone have a site plan or know the extent this site will stretch? Thanks in advance.

Here is the Application # & Chairman York's blurb about it in his "action report". Please keep in mind this info is dated 2011(about a year old) - it is possible Van Metre has made changes - but you can plug in the application # and view it via the County's Land Records website (LOLA).

    4. *ZCPA 2011-0004/BROADLANDS, SECTION 108 AND BROADLANDS SOUTH SECTION 208
Broadlands Associates, LLP, and Broadlands Commercial Development, LLC, of Burke, Virginia, have submitted an application to amend the concept plan and proffers approved with ZMAP 1995-0003/ZCPA 1994-0005, Broadlands, Broadlands South, and ZCPA 2002-0011, Broadlands/Broadlands South, in order to: 1) Modify the zoning of Section 208 from PD-H4 (Planned Development-Housing), administered as PD-OP (Planned Development-Office Park), to PD-H4, administered as R-8 (Single Family Residential) and R-24 (Multifamily Residential) in order to permit 26 single-family attached and 123 age restricted multi-family dwelling units at a residential density of 12.78 dwelling units per acre, in lieu of the approved office and church uses; 2) Eliminate the proffered inter-parcel access from Section 208 to a residential development located to the south; 3) Modify the zoning of Section 108 from PD-H3 (Planned Development-Housing), to PD-H3 and PD-H3, administered as PD-OP, in order to permit a 200-seat church and 79,565 square feet of PD-OP principle and accessory uses at a net non-residential density of 0.43 Floor Area Ratio (FAR), in lieu of the approved 123 age restricted multi-family units; 4) In regard to a 5-acre public use site proffered to be dedicated to the County, permit the development of all principal and accessory uses permitted in the PD-OP zoning district (uses previously restricted to a library, mental health, or recreation use), limit the size of public uses to 62,058 square feet at a net non-residential density of 0.24 FAR, and provide for the construction of a public street for access to the public use site. This application does not propose any change to the overall residential and nonresidential density previously approved for the Broadlands/Broadlands South development.

This application is subject to the Revised 1993 Zoning Ordinance. The subject property is approximately 26.54 acres in size and comprises Section 108 (approximately 14.88 acres in size) and Section 208 (approximately 11.66 acres in size). Section 108 is located on the north side of Broadlands Boulevard (Route 640) and on the east side of the Dulles Greenway (Route 267), in the Ashburn (formerly Dulles) Election District. Section 208 is located on the south side of Wynridge Drive, east of Claiborne Parkway (Route 901), and west of Mooreview Parkway (Route 2298), at 43199 and 43205 Wynridge Drive, Ashburn, Virginia, in the Broad Run (formerly Dulles) Election District. The area is governed by the policies of the Revised General Plan (Suburban Policy Area (Ashburn Community)) and the 2010 Countywide Transportation Plan which designate this area for Business uses at an FAR up to 1.0 and Residential uses at densities up to 4 dwelling units per acre. On October 26, 2011, the Planning Commission voted 8-0-0-1 (Klancher – recused) to forward the application to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation of approval, subject to the Proffer Statement dated October 18, 2011 and the Proffer Additions dated October 25, 2011. On November 9, 2011, the Board voted 8-0-1 (Waters – absent) to forward the application to the December 6, 2011 Business Meeting for action.
