15 minutes ago at Eagle Ridge it took about 25 mins. Busier than I expected but I also waited for electronic voting which adds about 10 mins.

15 mins a Eagle Ridge at 10 am.

Some guy tried to vote twice and they threw him out.

Set up at Eagle Ridge was really poor and it was easy to see how someone could vote twice.

In the hallway outside the voting area there is a guy who checks and makes sure you are in the right area then when you go in there are two lines.

One to register and then one to get your ballet.

There is nothing to stop you just walking right up to the ballet line and voting.

They should give you some type of chip after you register that you would give to the ballet person or move the ballet line behind the registration line so you could not get to the ballet line unless you were registered.

At just before 10am, the line was still inside at Eagle Ridge, when I left about 20-25 minutes later the line was outside the door a bit. Did the paper ballot. There was only one electronic ballot machine this year--I seem to recall that in prior years there were more??? Does anyone else remember/know? I actually asked the Elections "Chief" about it and he said that he thought that Eagle Ridge has always only had one electronic machine.

I voted at ERMS at about 11:30, 11:45. I checked in and showed my voter ID card. I was surprised that I didn't have to sign in this time. In the past we've always had to sign on the register. But when she checked me in, she did give me a little business card sized paper that I had to hand to the next lady who gave me my ballot. She would not have handed me my ballot without that. Maybe they messed up earlier in the day and didn't have that step in place when you were there?

That is correct. They were not doing that when I was there which is how the guy tried to vote twice. One of the monitors noticed him and stopped him and the guy then caused a scene.

Took me about 5min to vote at Mill Run this morning (10am). There was a line 20 deep for the 2 electronic machines. Zero wait for the 8 paper ballot stations. I was able to check in, vote, and walk out while the electronic line hadn't moved an inch.

I voted at ERMS around 11:30, and got a card (after I showed my ID) to hand to the person who was giving the paper ballots. It took me about 20 minutes altogether to vote. I don't remember ever having to actually "sign in" to vote, they've always just verified my name and address.

I thought I remembered they had a large book, found my name and address in the book, and then I had to sign on a signature line. I have a cold and my head isn't working very well, so who knows... maybe this is a figment of my imagination? :screwy:

literally no wait at eagle ridge just now... unless you wanted to use the electronic voting. If it's not going to be more efficient.. no thanks!

I remember that, too, but I don't remember if it was that way last time I voted.
