    Hi,
I have boys in first and second grade who have discovered Wii. Although the Lego games (star wars, pirates, and harry potter) are a lot of fun they are a too violent and the boys get very sucked into them. Does anyone have some good suggestions about Wii games that don't involve guns, swords, or light sabers? Thanks!

Try the Super Mario games. There are several to choose from.

Wii Party. The mini games are great and don't take very long.

I would agree with wii sports and Mario kart games! Our family agrees with the anti gun and gore sentiment. Just be warned though, another mom and I were just discussing her son's addiction to anything Mario. Some little boys just get "hooked" more than others. We found the more we restricted it, the more obsessive it got. When we didn't stress about it, the fascination left too.

I didn't mind the lego games because there isn't gore or blood, only broken legos.

Thanks for the advice. I've picked up a Mario game (London Olympics) and the Sports Resort-both on sale at Target this week! Now if anyone has an "E" rated wii game they would like to sell please pm me. Thanks!
