The numbers given by the teachers and administration was 2004 on the first day, which has grown more since then to around the number you posted.

Thanks for the updated numbers (I was looking at the number in the CIP that said it was correct as of 9/28/12.) I think those numbers show even more the need to move up the new school a year. Don't forget the School Board meets this Tuesday, Nov. 27, to vote on the resolution. Public input is first. Just being there when someone else talks is helpful too, by showing your support. I have gotten over 100 signatures on the online petition in the last week, but more is even better, if you haven't signed yet or you can share it with someone who will.

How many at John Champe? 700 maybe?
    How many at Freedom?

For those of you planning to attend, the School Board meeting has been delayed until 7pm tomorrow night (11/27) to allow members to attend the visitation for Sanders Corner Elementary principal Kathleen Hwang, who sadly was hit by a car and killed last Wednesday.

The resolution passed unanimously last night! Now, it's in the County's hands, but things are looking good to open HS-6 in 2014.
