Wanted Childs car seat preferably Britax

Car seat for a 3 and a half year old needed, preferably Britax and up to 60lbs weight capability. IM if available.

 

I think we have 2 but I need to locate them. They are about 9 yrs old though. Not sure if the safety standards have changed or not???? Let me know if you are interested and you can take a look.

 

Check the manufacturer's sticker on the car seat - it should have an expiration date on it.

 

Sent you a pm. No date on the carseat other than mfg in 2002. Might be too old? If you want them or want to look, let me know. Going to donate them to a place in Falls Church after the holidays.

 

Most places will not accept used car seats because the safety of them can not be verified. I know a lot of people give them to others to be used for babies R us and Toys R us for trade in value. Britax says the plastic and other components of the seat are not safe after that many years. Too bad. They are great seats and a shame to toss.

 

Are you still looking for a Britax car seat? I have a Britax Marathon purchased new in 2009 that is available. Has never been involved in an accident. Would need to think about how much we'd want for it. Let me know if you are still looking for one.
