    Hi,

    Happy New Year "y'all".;)

We were looking on Craigslist.org for some farm equipment recently for our farm; and DH noticed that Harbor Freight was advertising for a new store opening soon in Sterling area. DH had posted an ad for some of our older farm equipment and mentioned it to me earlier this week.

I suspect that they may be looking at the corner space where the old Room Store furniture was located in Sterling (Sugarland Crossing S/C). Apparently, they are posting for jobs for future opportunities for their new store.

Info below if someone is looking for retail employment--

Sort of the tool store version of the dollar store? Hmmmm. At least it is something a little different. Overall they receive decent reviews. Good for us!

They have a lot of krapp but some decent stuff too. I have a sliding table tile saw and an oscillating multitool from them that are rock solid. Glad they are closer now! Closest before was potomac mills or up in MD.

Agree...most stuff is low end made in China. Good thing is that if you need a tool, sometimes it is cheaper to buy it at HF than to rent it for a few days. If it breaks you have lost nothing. If it lasts a few more projects, you are way ahead. I have bought some pneumatic tools there for 10-15 bucks and they have lasted over 5 years.
