    Hi,

Leesburg Patch announced today that The Fresh Market will be the new "gourmet" grocery store for the One Loudoun project. No opening date officially announced yet; but I would venture to say early Spring 2013.

We have been to The Fresh Market stores in the GA area when we visited our relatives in the past. Similar to the Balducci or the old Fresh Fields concepts of the gourmet niche in grocery stores. Not bad prices; but according to some reviews on Yelp!--some reviewers did not like the Vienna, VA store for its meats and other "issues".

So no Whole Foods Market yet for Loudoun County; but not a bad choice!

    Web site/links are below--enjoy!

Will they be opening before or after the Trader Joe's going into the old Borders in Sterling?

Haha Winston - had me going there for a minute. I'm patiently waiting for The Wine'ing Butcher to open, and gave up on TJ's.

Here is another interesting article posted today on the Washington Biz Journal's site about The Fresh Market confirming my information about One Loudoun's new "gourmet" grocery store. There is also a rendition of what The Fresh Market may be built like at One Loudoun.

At least one of my "rumors" was proven factual--ha ha!!;):2thumbs: I guess you cannot "win them all!"

    Have fun--enjoy!
