Does anyone have insight as to why the Loudoun Times is no longer distributed in the Southern Walk neighborhoods on Wednesdays? I think it's been a few weeks now since we or anyone else on my street have received a paper.

I have noticed that the paper was being only delivered to the main streets and not the side streets. The plus of that system is less papers that do not get picked up by households (the papers seem to litter the streets for days after the delivery).

We live on a back street in the patio homes section and we get it every week.

I for one love the fact that this newspaper is not being delivered .. it is total waste at my house since it goes straight to recycle bin ... do not appreciate it being on my driveway when we are on vacation ...

You are welcome to remove any of the papers that show up on my driveway... I toss them directly in the recycle bin.

I suspect its a matter of a lazy delivery person. We stopped getting it a few months ago but noticed it was delivered on the main streets. I called and asked why and they were surprised at my question. That fixed my problem for several months and now its back to not being delivered.

They are probably being paid to deliver to all houses and are just chucking the ones that should have been delivered to the side streets......

Amen, hate that rag. It gets thrown in the middle of our lawn every Wednesday and gets fast-tracked to recycling.
