I hope you find your dog soon. Always scary if they get away but so much more so if they are a breed that many people are scared of. Good luck!

Any luck finding him? We've been looking and haven't seen him at all. He is a nice dog, we've met him on the trail several times and are hoping that he has already been safely returned home.

I think we saw your dog today. He was on the corner of stonehollow and claiborne. He came up to us and barked a little, in a friendly way, but would not come close enough to pet or anything. Then he ran away down the side of the woods along Claiborne towards Ridgeway. I took a picture. I hope you are reunited soon. I posted the pic on facebook but just now thought to come here and see if anyone as looking for a dog. We saw him on our way home from church around 1.

Thank you for your postings. We actually found him on Friday. A nice lady found him at Vestal's Gap and Chickacoan. He was running up to her full speed, but she could tell by his body language he was a nice dog. He looks intimidating at times, but is very friendly and likes to meet people and other dogs. The lady took him to the vet across from Eagle Ridge, and they wanded him to get his number from his microchip and they called Andrew. He had a little wild adventure Friday, but he is back home safe now. Thanks again for all your concerns.

I thought so many times about copying your post onto the Stream Valley Veterinarian Hospital FB page. I'm sorry, I wish I would have gotten around to it! I'm so glad that he was found. He's such a nice dog and I always enjoy when I bump into Andrew and Abel when walking my dogs.
