I really like the lawn service we used in the past but they are not always reliable. We receive so many flyers in our door advertising different lawn care services that it is overwheling. I am looking for a lawn care service for Spring cleaning/ mulching and also for weekly mowing. Who do you use and would you recommend them? We are in a single family home.

    Thank you Villager.
Does this company use large mowers or a regular size mower?

I am looking for a company that will just come in and mow, trim the edges and clean up once a week for spring and summer. Does anyone know of a company or individuals that do a super nice job using a hand (regular home size) mower?
    Thanks for any help.
*hubbs had surgery for detached retina and there will be no yard work this spring or summer for him. nope. not gonna happen. But he is picky.

Rock Water Farms does use large mowers, which don't do well in a fenced yard.

I second Rock Water Farm. We just started with them this past Fall - and couldn't be happier. We have a fenced yard and we have garden areas - no problems at all with the mowers they use.

    Hi,

Could you give a ballpark on how much they would charge for a small yard.

    Thanks!

I'd also like to know about what folks are paying (I have at 1/4 acre).

    Thanks everyone!

Each truck is equipped with multiple mowers and it's the judgement of the foreman as to what mower to use. If a mistake is made, give us a call and we'll take care of it. I can be reached directly at 703-774-7304.

    Take care!

We needed help with planting 15 trees, edging, mulching, etc and called Luis Lawn Service. We told him what we wanted done and he picked up all of the trees and supplies at the nursery and brought them to the house. He did a fantastic job! So we hired him to do our weekly mows. Really great guy, very respectful, fair prices. Luis - 703-357-0501
