Stopped working while it was on? Or you can't turn it on?

    What model is it?

Is is supposed to turn on by remote control? If so, have you replaced the batteries in both the handheld remote and the remote receiver box, which is usually located in the fireplace near the gas control.

It stopped working while it was on. It is not a remote fireplace. Tried lighting the pilot light and it won't stay on.

Our fireplace did the same thing a year ago, but we have not gotten it fixed. No remote control, just a light switch. Sometimes the pilot light stays lit, other times it goes out, gas flow seems spotty. Have not researched who could come out and service/clean. My guess is the gas line is clogged or kinked. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

We have a service call with Amazing Flame scheduled for our gas fireplace that occasionally shuts itself off. Earliest appointment was a few weeks out, will post an update after they come. Price includes cleaning and repair, but no parts (if any are needed).

What $$ are they quoting for the service?

We had a problem with our pilot light not lighting last year. It turned out to be a broken thermal coupling.

That was exactly the problem with my fireplace. I used Amazing Flame too. The technician was on time, fast and cleaned up. I don't remember what I paid, but it was inexpensive
