I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for rotten wood replacement. I think the damage may be beyond a painters abilities, as the wood is rotten through the trim to the actually house (a bay window support). We didn't notice the damage because all of our trim is wrapped in vinyl so the rot was happening under the pretty vinyl trim... Recommendations?

Hello. Curious if you have received any replies from this post and if you have chosen a contractor for your repairs. We have a similar situation and need to find someone to fix our problem.
    Thank you! Cindy

We had 6 different companies come out and only received an estimate from one (Paramount Builders). The others came out but never got back to us with an estimate. We signed with Paramount and are awaiting a start date for the work so I can't give an opinion yet. They were less expensive than I expected though but we'll see. They didn't give us the "Cashburn" premium because their estimate office is in Gainesville. Honestly, in the other contractors defense, our work is very extensive and beyond just rotten trim.
