Like the new look. However, had a quick feedback item - when I am in the "What's new" section.. the main link to the thread and the link to the forum that contains the thread seem to be too close together (it appears almost below in smaller font). Especially when browsing through a tablet, I end up clicking the forum rather than the thread more often than not. (I am using an android tablet, if it helps). Can something be done about that?

The thread title is already larger text - I don't have any quick fixes for this.. but I'll keep it in mind.

On the old forum, when you went to the home page the most recent forum posts were on the left side of the page. In the box showing the most recent posts in the right lower corner was the word 'more'. Is it possible to get this 'link' work back? When you clicked on it the most recent post titles were shown along with their messages. I found it very useful.

The closest to that is the 'Whats New' link off the menu bar here in the forum.

I like the new format. One thing that would be nice is to have the date of posts be more prominent than they are now.

I boosted the size of the message title now. It's a little goofy I think.. but maybe it works :) let me know if it helps you.

How do I delete a post? I sold an item and would like to delete the original post but it is not showing "delete" as an option.

We don't normally delete postings - simply reply to your original posting/thread and indicate the item has been sold.

OK, thanks. For the next update- it would be nice to have the ability to flag the status from "for sale" to "sold".

That's a nice suggestion.. I can add a prefix for that. I believe you can edit the thread title already.. I'll experiment. Thx for the feedback!

I prefer the log out option to appear on the home page. Are you just testing that change? I suppose I should have posted this on the other thread. Can someone move it please?

This is just a change in the main product - you can get to log off by just going under your name in the menu. Is there a reason you need the log off button frequently? There is no need to actually log off the forum when you don't share your computer.

Strictly habit, and besides it was automatic before after a certain time lapse.

Use the 'remember me' checkbox and just forget about it all :)

I am a new member. I want to start a new conversation for "seeking a babysitter" do I put it under a specific category? And my other question is its asking me to enter participants. I want this to be open to anyone who is reading and interested. What do I place in this field? Thank you.

'Conversations' are intended for private discussions between members. What you are looking to do is simply create a new thread in one of the public facing forums (much like the post I am replying to). Browse to the correct forum, and then use the 'post new thread' link up near the top right to start your new thread.

Q: How does one delete a thread once it's invalid?

You can edit a thread.. including it's title.. but you can not delete a thread. If there is a problem with an extra thread you created accidentally or something.. just use the report link and tell us what's up and we can deal with it.

Threads that are simply no longer needed, etc.. we recommend updating the title (sold!, etc) or posting a follow-up.
