Traffic Light?

    Does anyone have an update as to if/when there will be a traffic light installed at the intersection of Truro Parrish & Belmont Ridge Roads and/or the intersection of Croson & Belmont Ridge Road?

    Also, any further plans to widen Belmont Ridge Road from Truro Parrish to Croson?

    Really dislike that stretch, especially with all of the teen drivers going to/from BWHS. Dangerous and hard to believe it does not warrant at least one traffic light.

    Widening of Belmont Ridge from Broadlands Blvd to Truro Parish (including a light at Truro Parish) is already funded. I thought the work was supposed to start this year.
    County is planning to use some of the new transportation money to widen the rest of Belmont Ridge from Croson to Rte 7, but I don't know what the time line is for that.
