Tunnel painting?

 

Thanks Sarah. Didn't think you had forgotten, buuuuut, just wanted to make sure.

 

Aren't the tunnels already painted?

 

Some parents are interested in painting the tunnels with murals.

 

The Tunnels need to be swept out. The walking paths are in need of repairs and upkeep. The wetlands adjacent to the Community Center has quite a bit of trash in and around it. Wes and Maureen in the past have always stayed on top of these kind of issues...

 

Put on some old jeans, get a broom and a trashbag, then you can take care of 2 of them yourself... if they bother you that much.

 

FYI:
I pay HOA Fees (These fee's are for the upkeep of the neighborhood)! I or any other HOA resident's shouldn't have to pickup any trash or sweep up. These area's I mentioned are all maintained by the HOA...

 

HOA or not, I think we should all be diligent in picking up trash in our neighborhood (as well as ensuring that we are not the source of the trash). The common grounds maintenance budget does not have unlimited funds so we need to pitch, at times.

 

I have been paying fees since 95' and I have no problem helping keep our neighborhood cleaner. I agree that some things should be the sole responsibilty of the HOA but picking up loose trash... we can ALL pitch in. HOA does not have the $$ or resources to patrol the neighborhood everyday either.

OH, and we had these problems under previous management too.
