Riiiight. And you don't like that he's running for the board because he's posting about the railroading from the SWHOA board due to the very questions you don't care that he's asking! You say you want to see the feedback from the board on these same questions, and that you're not ok with illegal activity and want to see a change in legal strategy. Lets see you go ask for the SWHOA documents and see how far you get from them, and if you get as frustrated as he did in the process. Put your money where your mouth is if you are so concerned.

Lol Cap, you are a piece of work my friend. Encountered quite a bit of your commentary driving down memory lane yesterday and it makes me smile.I have no interest in running, if I did I would put my name in the hat. Every time I have contacted the board I have received what I felt were satisfactory responses. I have no earthly reason to go ask for 3 years of complete HOA documentation, nor one month for that matter. If/when the time comes that I do need that, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Look, I've said my part. Elections are close at hand so do what you will. If you (membership at large) feel that cogs is the solution then by all means, usher him in on a red velvet carpet with a big old crown on his noggin. I truly hope that the collective opinion serves us well in these times.

Until then, Peace and Happy Turkey Day!

    Wolf685cln,

Here is an example of lying:

Erika Cotti wrote that she informed BHOA President SWHOA would be filing a lawsuit against them.
Look here for the entire letter:
Southern Walk HOA has named Broadlands HOA a defendant

    Problems:
Couple of days later she writes to vacliff:
When I sent my resignation to the Modifications Subcommittee and generally explained the reason for my resignation, under no circumstances would I have ever expected that you would PUBLICLY disclose any of the details, much less the SW HOA's future litigation plan.

It was not a resignation letter as she was already removed from the Broadlands Modifications Committee when the letter was emailed. Its just an exercise of stroking the ego.

At no time did I ever directly state the SW HOA would be suing the BHOA, it was implied but never stated.

Of course, the "resignation" clearly stated the intent.

Southern Walk residents kept in the dark about this impending litigation against BHOA for a long time.

Instead of coming out attacking people.. you could just read what they've written. 90% of your 'what would you do..' posts have been answered here already.

"What would you advocate?" - he's already said change the legal team and suggested working WITH landsdowne vs trying to ignore them. Or simply letting the landsdowne thing finish and then use it as leverage.

"Are you satisfied with the current board's actions and accountability?" - What in the world is this?

"there have been great strides in certain areas (FCC involvement, BoS push, new state laws enacted, etc)" - Has any one of these things changed anything within SW itself?

"Where he points to LTOP's 'dynamic' legal team as a model for success, I can't see a way for that to happen without associated cost, and a considerable one at that" - Funny... SW residents are the ones paying multiple special assessments... while Landsdowne has NOT. Maybe one would like to analyze how their 'considerable cost' is being absorbed so much better than here in SW?

I honestly don't know what in the world you are hoping to accomplish. You come in here guns blazing without any actual motivation to know the truth. Sounds like a smear effort to me.

    I agree with you Flynnibus-

Wolf, I'm not a friend of yours so don't go around saying 'my friend' because I ain't one of yours. Get that in your thick skull of yours and disband that so called smear campaign of yours or go back in that clubhouse of the board's!

I have read, over and over and over again - every detail of every post.

Yes, I am advocating the same approach. The idea didn't originate in cogs' brain nor mine, its been brought up before long ago - it's not a bad idea and should be considered.

I would argue that both the FCC and BoS have helped more than harmed. Have we won yet? No.

    4:1 ratio as a start.

Who's not reading? It's simple, I don't feel that cogs is a good choice for the board. Call it what you will, I am stating my opinion. Where's your critical eye with regard to the egregious nature of some of the other fodder sprayed around here?

    Not true.

According to the monitory award judgement, LOTP spend $862k and won the $615k legal fees award from Openband. Their net cost is $247K.

SWHOA is spending a lot more
$100,000 in CD withdrawals (that I know about. There might be more)
    $175,000 in 2012 assessments
    $402,000 in 2013 assessments

compare Southern Walks $677k to LOTPs $250k.

Moreover, Southern Walk is yet to win any case where as LOTP won twice in Federal courts.

Had SWHOA joined LOTP, the $247k expense spent by would have been split by both communities.

That's fine - you've said it, we've heard it. But if you want to argue that position, you'd be best off by arguing a reason behind that belief.. not repeatedly asking questions and posing challenges that are clearly answered by simply reading the posts by cogs.

Not being critical enough is something I've never been accused of. Your bizzaro view of the world continues...

I just received the Notice of 2013 Annual Meeting for SWHOA. In the packet was the Proxy form with only three candidates (all incumbents) - surprise, surprise. In a previous post, cogs stated that he submitted his candidate profile sheet, which means that the current board only added their names to the Proxy.

I know of one candidate who stated his intention to run as a candidate (so now a write-in candidate):
    1. Sasidhar Aadipudi (cogs)

Are there any other write-in candidates?

I did not submit the candidate profile sheet. I requested the Board to send me the nomination papers more than a month ago.
