I think he meant sowalker and its drive-by passive aggressive comments targeting Shashi.

Hopefully after Sashi gets on the swhoa all the drama will end. Once he is able to put his strategies in to place the openband issues should be quickly resolved.

If I can steer this conversation back to getting a letter showing $175 breakout, I still have not heard back from Erika or our new property management company. Can anyone help ? any ideas ?? Thank you.

Snoopy... poor Snoopy. And seriously, the only way you are going to get an answer is to attend the annual meeting on Jan 16 (think that is the date). We do not know the breakdown in costs yet to that level of detail because we have not seen the rates, legel fee splits published. I would like to know the answer too, but I can only estimate for now...unless I missed something.

Can you actually go in person to the Property Management company to ask? Maybe email customer service at CustomerService.dcmetro@fsresidential.com, or call their Customer Care Call Center at 703-385-1133 or 540-891-8677 or 240-813-2457? You could show them the letter you got from SWHOA, and ask if that information is available for expense purposes.

And since you haven't heard from Erica, maybe you could send an email to the entire board asking for this information, explaining your need for the information and attaching a PDF of the letter you got last time.

I got a response from Amy at FirstService today
    "
Yes, I was on vacation until this week. I have a draft of the letter prepared and it is being reviewed. As soon as it is approved, we will forward you a copy. You should have it this week.

    Thanks, "

They will send you a letter stating that they cannot share that information as it is confidential and they are worried could be leaked to Openband.
Openband pricing information falling in to Openband's hands!!

Good news .. I was able to obtain the breakout of $175 from Amy Phillips (FirstService). She sent it via e-mail today.
Bad news .. PDF has watermark across the document Property of Southernwalk HOA not for distribution. Therefore, I can't post it here.

If you need this letter ( assuming Southernwalk HOA will not send it out ), you can contact Amy ( Amy.Phillips@fsresidential.com) to request your own copy.

    Thank you.

I would hazard a guess that if you passed it, they could do nothing to you.

You ARE part of the SWHOA. ;)

    buhahah...

Amazing - HOA dues... which they are legally require to disclose to even potential homebuyers... they are treating like mission impossible documents. Absolutely pathetic and anyone who sits on the SWHOA board while this type of behavior continues should be ashamed of themselves.

WAKE UP PEOPLE - withholding information is not how you build confidence or fight back.

The following just makes me laugh. It has always been a small annoyance to me that the online billing option does not include the owed amount. I know what it is, but no where on the site does it tell you how much you owe. Today, I went to the FAQ section, and it lists the following answer after the question, "How much do I owe my property management company?"

"If you do not see an amount displayed in the payments field, your property management company has not provided PayLease with the balance owed on your account. Please contact your management company to obtain the balance owed."

    Makes me chuckle....
