Please share any good experiences with companies/individuals that will clean out just the dryer duct, (as opposed to the entire house; ac/heat). I am in the process of purchasing a new dryer, and realize the ducts have not been vacuumed out properly since the house was built 10+ years. (I think the old dryer may have burned out due to a clogged duct or at least that may have contributed to the break-down). The duct extends about 12+ feet, so it has been difficult to use the household vacuum to reach all areas. I have looked at a kit on Amazon, but am curious if anyone has used a repairman or company in the Broadlands area that I does this sort of task. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Please report back here if you do find someone. Just before Thanksgiving last year, we got a glossy in the mail for this service (strictly for dryer ductwork). I was going to call them after the holidays but now I cannot find it!

We used Duct Doctor as well. Amazing service! Reasonable cost. Definitely would recommend!

If you have an electric leaf blower try using it from the laundry room vent to blow through to outside. It worked for me. DO NOT USE A GAS POWERED BLOWER INSIDE THE HOUSE.
