Looking for someone who have used a handyman to install blinds, we did not go with homedepot/lowes/jcp blinds that come with installation... more than twice the cost... If anyone has used a handyman and are happy please let me know...

Can you share any info about where you purchased your blinds. I've been putting off updating the blinds in our kitchen/family room and need to get it done. I used Next Day Blinds 10 years ago and it was a frustrating ordeal. I'd love to hear who you used/ your advice.
    Thanks.

We used selectblinds.com and hired someone who actually came to install our closet. We are not really happy with the quality. But it is half the price quoted by JCP/Homedepot and the likes.

Thanks for the info. That's too bad re the quality. Did the handyman work out ok?

The last time I had blinds installed I got quotes from several local companies and all but Next Day Blinds are out of business.

I installed three blinds on my own. I bought them from Nextday blinds, I am sure I could have bought somewhere else cheaper but didn't have time to do research.

As long as you have the correct measurement, you can do it by yourself.

i ordered all my window blinds from www.windowblinds.com and the total cost was merely 1/3 of what Nextday blinds offered. I installed them myself. If you have a power drill, you are good to go. Give it a try.
