Part of my ridge vent was flapping in the winding due to yesterday's high wind. I called Roofer911 and Siding Doctors (I found both in old threads in this forum) Both answered/returned my calls quickly. Roofer911 was going to show up today to give me an estimate but Siding Doctors came yesterday and fixed my issue.

Siding doctors completed the work quickly and he even put in a few more screws to tighten my other ridge vent that was loose. So far I'm happy with the work.

It was around $300 because we had to replace our ridge vent. I think it would have been $100 less if it was just re-attaching.

No leaks so far despite the heavy rain we had yesterday and this morning.

Thank you so much for that referral. I contacted Siding Doctors about a leaky roof and Jorge came out and identified all the potential issues and returned a day after and fixed everything, I mean, everything of potential issue for a very, very reasonable cost (another company wanted to charge twice as much). The thing that I really appreciated about Siding Doctors was that they took very detailed pictures of all the potential issues they saw and also gave me the after-repair photos as well. Clearly it's an honest outfit - they want to show what they worked on and how they fixed things and document them thoroughly with photographs. Now, I must say, I am not happy with my PREVIOUS roofer. He charged me an enormous amount of money and his crew left some issues unaddressed.

The only thing that gave me a little pause was the warranty. Instead of, say, "one year no leak warranty" type of thing, they "guarantee that all work would be performed to industry standards." But because they quoted me such a reasonable price and because they documented everything with photographs, I feel much better.

So I heartily recommend Siding Doctors.

Recommend looking at A Atlantic at www.aatlanticservices.com in Sterling, VA. Very reasonable estimate and quality work. Got the estimate and then scheduled the work in about a week's time. Nhoj Snekeim (703-586-0506) did a great job on our roof repair work from the wind storms.
