Neighborhood Triathlons?

    When we moved here, KatMac put on 2 really great triathlons in Broadlands: Infinitive in June and Dog Days in August. Last year, it went down to just the Infinitive and now this year, nothing. I just got a notice that they were putting on the Tri4Love in June and was super excited - only to get a message that they had canceled it in Broadlands and rescheduled in Herndon in September. The course is great, lots of people look forward to them, what gives? It's so disappointing! Anyone have any idea?

    You would really have to take it up with the organizers. As far as I know all folks who have ever asked to run a tri or a race in the Broadlands have been granted permission as long as they meet all the necessary requirements (to include but not be limited to organization, traffic control, and insurance requirements.
