Why is there no edit option? I am a terrible typist and speller and I am impulsive too so I post before I read. Totally my own fault but, still.

This is almost as exciting as a 2nd Amendment discussion....keep it coming, I am getting bored. This topic seems to be one of those "entrenched" opinion ones that works like a self-fulfilling prophecy. Once you get an idea and a position on this topic, there is no going back.

But I will say this.... I will put more faith in a cadre of medical experts from the CDC before I listen to a bunch of armchair "researchers" using the internet to find "articles" that support their beliefs. At the end of the day I guess making an informed decision or assessing what works for you just gets harder and more confusing....

I see that 'once you get an idea and a position on this topic, there is no going back'.

Perhaps someone would do well by reading some of those internet articles about the government funded experiments, spearheaded by the CDC no-less, that came back to bite them in the arse...verified and supported by fact.

    I don't know - do you think there's a connection?

    My points to yours:
    1) True. It will help. But it only takes that one time touching something that a sick person touched.
    2) True. But I see lots of people out there spraying the area with their coughs and sneezes.
    3) True. But lots and lots of people do not stay home.
    4) True. This is one you can control that will help.

I get a flu shot every year and have never gotten the flu since I started getting them. Works for me.

The only time I ever got a flu shot (in the military), I got sick (don't know if it was the flu). I've never had a flu shot since then, and never had flu symptoms after that. Anecdotal evidence may not be the best way to determine whether to vaccinate against certain diseases.

May be, but it works for me. Each can make their own decision.

Vaccines have nothing to do with the overall health of the population. Considering that you can buy a 2500 calorie lunch for around $10 probably has more to do with the average health than anything else. Also take into account that we work longer hours / days and take less time off than any other nation, and you can see the issue is not just purely a single item.
