I wouldn't consider the Greenway a "heavily trafficked road". Maybe Route 7, Waxpool (at rush hour) or route 28 at the rush. But I've never had heavy traffic on the Greenway...

Given that order is as defined for registered aircraft... I doubt it applies to RC models :)

Saw one of these UAVs a couple of weeks ago at night and watched as it hovered over my house. These things are all privately owned?

We had one hovering over our house then moving down the row of houses at night multiple times several weeks ago. Scared the crap out of us. If they have cameras you might see the bird on it from my husband. So nice having privacy in our yard.

These drones are used by hobbyists for fun, not for spying. I made a video with a drone on a recent business trip to Dubai. Please take a look.

The Supreme Court ruled that you own"at least as much of the space above the ground as he can occupy or use in connection with the land." There was a case where someone on a glider at 80 ft was convicted of trespassing.

If a drone is over your property, and you enjoy bird hunting or target practice in connection with the use of your land, then have at it with a pellet gun.

Nice work, that's very cool. Obviously a 3 axis gimbal. Was that using your Vision?

That was made with a Phantom 2 with a Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal.
Bird hunting and target practice in the Broadlands? I think you will have a difficult time defending that position in court or anywhere.

Cujus est solum ejus est usque ad coelum et ad inferos has no legal authority in the United States when pertaining to the sky. A man does not have control and ownership over the airspace of their property except within reasonable limits to utilize their property. Airspace above a set minimum height is property of the Masses and no one man can accuse airplanes or other such craft within of trespassing on what they own.
