Santa's Coming to Broadlands this Friday, December 4 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Come and share with Santa what you would like for Christmas from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the Broadlands Clubhouse located at 43360 Rickenbacker Square (Off of Waxpool Road just east of the Greenway).

Light refreshments will be provided. Enjoy musical performances by:

• Hillside Elementary School Chorus
• Eagle Ridge Middle School Chorus
• Briar Woods High School Chorus

We will have a TOYS FOR TOTS box to collect new, unwrapped toy donations. A donation box is available at the Nature Center until Thursday, December 3.

 

I Love this event and am so appreciative that Broadlands does this, however, I'd like to make a suggestion. Could it either be held at a larger location, or the choir only sing part of the time? Having the kid's choirs take up half the room makes it so you can't even talk to the person next to you (and this is a social event, not a concert), and the room is over crowded and very hot. I know the kids work hard with these songs, but don't they already have a holiday concert? I know as a parent I'd love one less commitment as well if my kids were in those choirs. Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback. This will be shared with the Events Committee for consideration in future years. Unfortunately we do not have a larger facility, so we need to make do with what we have. We are considering extending the length of time of the event as well to help alleviate the crowds.
