Free Shred Event and Electronic Recycle April 2nd

    Need to get rid of old paperwork or electronics?

    Mark your calendars for our fifth “No-Cost, On Site, While You Watch” Shredding & Electronics Recycling Event, which will be held on Saturday, April 2th from 9:00am to 12:00pm in the RE/MAX Premier parking lot located at 44675 Cape Ct, Ashburn. We will take ANY electronics, tools, TV’s, computers, appliances, metal objects, fans, phones, cords, grills, etc. If you can get it to the truck, we’ll take it.
    Dunkin Donuts coffee, hot chocolate and donuts will be served.

    Please RSVP to Dan at dan@danthiewes.com or call 703-508-5762 so we know how many donuts to order!

    Doesn't look like I can correct my original post. The Shred Event and Electronic Recycle is Saturday April 2nd.

    We're having a terrible time finding a place that will accept old car seats. Will you accept old car seats? If so, what happens to them? Landfill?

    We definitely don't accept car seats. That is a good one. You may want to call the Loudoun County Landfill 703-771-5500. They are right off of Evergreen Mill Rd. It's very straight forward and easy to use. Good luck!

    Hard to imagine all those old car seats can't be reused or recycled just because they're expired so the only alternative is landfill. Thanks for responding.

    I agree. It's a shame there isn't more recycling going on.
