owner or visitor of a Gold Toyota Sequoia turned left off of Vestals Gap Drive on to Gentle Heights Ct.

Did the 10secs you saved racing up Vestals Gap Drive satisfy you? Next time a plate number will be submitted to Loudoun County.

    have a good day sir/madaam

volvo_nut, do you really have nothing better to do, or do you just have too much time on your hands? Never driven over the speed limit? ever?

If you are referring to the stretch of Vestals Gap between Chickocoan and Glebe View (which has Meadow Field Ct and Gentle Heights Ct off it) it draws the "speed demon" out of the driver. I do not know why, and I have even followed several drivers that do a steady 25/30 mph on Vestals Gap through the Main part of the 'hood (from Claiborne to Chickacoan) and then "gun it" to go up the hill at 45+ on that stretch... I just don't know why.

Since I am on the corner of Vestals Gap and Meadow Field Ct, I see/hear it every day

If it bothers you that much to read the posts, make a note not to read them.

I think Volvo nut is not only illustrating a point how irresponsible drivers are around here, but is trying to single them so that those folks realize what they are doing doesn't do anybody any good, even themselves. I for one never speed, run stop signs..... in our neighborhood or anywhere else. If I do, it is truly a mistake. I EXPECT the same courtesy from everybody else who is driving, especially in my own neighborhood. The laws are here to help protect everyone. We may not agree with them, or we may feel we dont have to abide by them, but just think if everyone else had that kind of selfish or the "Holier than though" mentality. A world without structure is a world of chaos --- well , I think everyone understands where Im going with this. Obey the traffic laws everyone, grow up!! The "Precious" few seconds you save is not worth it and if you hit me with your total indescretion, be prepared, because I will be far from happy.....[}:)]

Ah Greg, I expected someone to reply in that manner. I don't know you from Adam, but come on man, thats a weak question/argument.

I am not the hall monitor/nanny neighbor type. I thought I'd never care as much about the way people drive but it has gotten out of hand. The whole parenting thing has changed me and I do notice things that could potentially harm kids more than I did before.

If these incidents were only once or twice a year I wouldn't think as much of it but I see it with increasing regularity to the point of daily.
