Has anyone else noticed that the mail has started coming later and the truck sometimes cones by two or three times. I am guess either the mail isn't being sorted correctly and they have to go back redeliver mail. The other night our mail didn't come until almost 8pm and today it was after 6 and I just saw the truck going back around to all of the mailboxes.

Hmmm, did Trump trim the fat? USPS is heavily subsidized by the Federal Government (taxpayer dollars.)

I see their trucks a couple of times a day too, but it's usually because they are delivering packages. Mail order has grown substantially and I think they are falling behind...

I think it's more the Amazon contract causing issues

We got mail twice last night - once around 6 and the second time about 730. Maybe he is on vacation and it just takes longer for someone who isn't used to the route.

A few days a week I am receiving mail for other streets, and not even close to my house number. This person is not reliable at all to deliver mail.

Same here on our street. Postal delivery comes twice, odd hours, etc. Inconvenient in the least. We've called the Post Office and spoken with management there and they just say "sorry". Maybe it is Amazon delivery causing issues. The problem with us (and probably others here) is that if it's coming late, we don't get to it until the next evening when we get home from work. That means we lose a day in trying to keep us with bills, etc.

UPDATE: We talked to the driver this evening. Apparently, there are staffing shortages and the USPS here in Broadlands has substitute drivers from other areas. I think this is a temporary condition due to others taking vacation days, etc.

They came last night around 9:30PM! Dang! Talk about slowwwwwwwwww (Turtle) service. So much for USPS and their steep financial losses. I have a friend that works for a consulting firm that consults USPS...he's getting paid around $220K doing this. Guess this is where USPS is so screwed up.

Slow or fast? Maybe the mail was due to be delivered today and USPS delivered it early (albeit late in the day).
