Got mine done with a local company, Peak Roofing. It's a machine. They had an 11 guy crew out and did a full tear off, replaced 4 pieces of plywood and put it all back in a day in a half. They will work with your insurance company if needed. So far so good.

Neighborhood Broker with Mark Lannes seems quite good, but I am concerned that they do not have a working website up yet. Anyone else have thoughts on this Company?

Anyone else have experience with Mark Lannes and Neighborhood Broker? I had him come out this week to check out our roof and he says we have enough hail damage to submit a claim, so I'm going to begin the process with our home insurance.

Do not work with Mark. WHen he did a bunch of roofs ...he was operating under someone else's license. Not legit at all. Check with the State Licensing Corporation - you will know.

Recommend looking at A Atlantic at www.aatlanticservices.com in Sterling, VA. Very reasonable estimate and quality work. Got the estimate and then scheduled the work in about a week's time. Nhoj Snekeim (703-586-0506) did a great job on our roof repair work from the wind storms.

    Updates,

Looking to get a roof replaced, I got a quote from Loudoun Valley Roofer and it seemed reasonable. Anyone else I should look at or stay clear of? Thank you in advance.

We, along with several neighbors in our immediate vicinity, used Colonial Contracting (703 754 9551). They handled all of the necessary negotiation and paperwork with the insurance company. The entire job including clean up was performed in one day.

Yes, went down that road with my insurance and was denied. Funny every neighbor around us, front and back all got roofs replaced via insurance due to hail damage, but my insurance said nope, normal wear and tear. I'm out of pocket for mine.

    John Perkins 216-308-0696 / 703-718-6777.
Champion restoration & construction. He was able to get insur. Coverage for a neighbor & now working with homeowner across the street. John noticed a problem on our roof, took care of it no charge.

Same happened with us. Insurance company denied us several times while approving my neighbors. Turns out (according to the original building documents they left us) that when the house was build, the original owners (we are the second owners) elected to have a higher grade shingle placed on the house. We have a 50 year shingle on the house.

Us as well. Denied initially by All State. Appealed it. They came back out and denied it, but offered a few thousand. Then they pressured me to take the settlement.
I emailed All State corporate that I was filing a complaint with the state. The state does have a regulatory oversight of all insurance companies.
They actually responded quickly. All State then offered to come out again. And Voila!!!!
Not only approved my roof claim, but threw in gutters, downspouts and screens as well.
I was told that no insurance company wants the state sniffing under their tent.

Do any of you have Travelers insurance? I am hearing they are really a pain when it comes to roofing claims.

I've used C2 Operations for both my roof, my neighbors roof, as well as my gutters and large trim work.

    https://c2operations.com/

Cannot say anything bad about them. great customer service, communication, and fantastic workers. 10/10 would use them again.
