Over the years we've had instances where mail was not delivered but this is now getting to a point of ridiculousness and there is no way to complain about it. In the last 2 weeks I've found out that I've been delinquent on 2 different bills. We never received the original statements. I really wish everything could go paperless and completely get rid of the postal service as it is now more of a liability than a service.

We've had similar issues, one just this past week. There can be days when we just don't get mail, but my home office overlooks the street and when I a. don't see the mail truck, b. don't see the mail and c. start clearly missing deliveries, there is a problem.

The worst part is when you call to make a compliant it's clear nothing is being recorded. I'm not sure if the problem is our local carrier or the distribution plant. I am constantly delivering letters and mail to my neighbors that was placed in my mail box.

I'm more worried that one of these times my credit is going to get dinged because of this crap

How about a complaint to Congresswoman Comstock?

Just found our third major bill lost to the mail. These late fees are really starting to add up... This one was back at the end of June. I'm switching everything I can to paperless. Just don't trust the USPS anymore

So far the informed delivery is working ok. I get the letter sized mail emailed to me every morning. So far nothing missing that's been in those emails. Still really annoying.

A little followup on this one. Since I turned on the informed delivery I did not have any missing mail until today. Just so happens to be a bill as well. Informed delivery has the option to flag a piece of mail as missing and I'm gonna give that a try.

I'll add my .02 cents here because I've been frustrated with the mail for quite a while now too! They can't do "Hold Mail" right anymore. For years I never had a problem and this last year, they have messed up about 4 instances of "Hold Mail". I feel like I will always have mail, perhaps very important mail, sitting in my mailbox while I am away even though they used to do a great job of that. I, too, have had lots of neighbors mail in my box to the point where they must not even be looking at the actual addresses. Also, we see the mail truck at the craziest times! 10pm on a Saturday night, 2pm on a Sunday, 6am on a holiday. Sometimes, the truck comes down our street twice in about 3 hours, I don't know what they are doing!

Do you have to look at your list of mail digitally every day with informed mail?

Looks like I'm in the same boat. :( Was told a package was delivered by the mailman on Saturday at 1:00, but was outside from 12-2 and the mailman never came by and no package was delivered. In fact, the mail was not delivered until after 5. but the tracking says otherwise. So frustrating!

I get an email every day with the informed delivery feature. Has pictures of letter sized mail and tracking numbers for larger packages.

While knowing what should come is great I have heard nothing from flagging the mail as missing and it was never delivered.

USPS has the Amazon delivery contract around here so that is why you see multiple delivery trucks over the course of the day. They no longer only deliver the mail. I think that's part of the reason this is have gone down hill so far.
