Does anyone know where to buy the halogen under-counter, small halogen bulbs (Van Metre townhouse in Southernwalk). I usually travel to Dominion Electric in Chantilly to get them. Is there a retail place (Lowes, etc.) where I can purchase them?

The Sterling Lowes does. The Ashburn Home Depot does not.

Just a followup. Went to Sterling Lowes, but each bulb was $12! We could debate the gas it took, but I ended up going to Dominion Lighting in Chantilly and paid $5...and stocked up!

I was just at Batteries + Bulbs in Ashburn Village. They had a two pack of these bulbs for $13. I didn't check if they sold single packs.

I got the equivalent bulb in an LED and they work great. Only caveat is that the light fixtures under our cabinets have a high and a low setting and the LEDs don't work well on the low setting. Not sure where I got them but do a search for "halogen e11 LED equivalent". I have 3 of the old halogen bulbs if you want to buy them.
