Southern Walk HOA Announcing Verizon FiOS Availability for Phase 2

The Southern Walk Board of Directors is pleased to announce starting today, May 10, 2019, Southern Walk residents in Phase 2 are available to call the Verizon Bulk National Sales Center to order their FiOS services.

Homes on the following streets will be available to place their orders:

Cloverleaf Ct
Coulwood Terr
Dilworth Sq
Kennerly Terr
Marburg Terr
Pallan Terr
Park Creek Dr
Park Glenn Dr
Stone Hollow Dr (EXCEPT 22107)
Stonestile Pl (22016 ONLY)
Tealbriar Pl
Thornblade Cir

Ordering details are posted at www.swhoab.com, please only use the ordering instructions attached on that site, do not order FiOS online- the order won’t go through. *A Southern Walk HOA Account delinquency could affect ordering and service activation.*

Once your service is turned on, you can contact OpenBand about canceling any OpenBand services you wish to. OpenBand will schedule an appointment with you to pick up video equipment at your home..

Phase 3 is coming along and near completion (expected next 10 days) and Phase 4 is about 65-75% complete. Verizon is still working toward the goal of completing the neighborhood by June 1st, which is the date OpenBand is turning off their VIDEO service (only video, not internet or phone).

 

Have Phase 3 & 4 merged? Our street is listed as phase 3 on swhoab.com but there appears to be 2 groups of phase 3 streets. No phase 4 listed. Updates on whether or not the June 1st deadline will be me will be greatly appreciated.

 

I think there was an announcement that they are working everywhere to mee the completion goal of June 1st. Any number of factors can impact construction, like soil/rock density, an unplanned utility strike, etc.

 

I guess our question is, why can't they turn on streets as they become ready? Construction on our street is complete, but we were told that we have to wait for all of phase 3/4 to be completed before its turned on....
