We are looking for anyone who can teach rollerblading for my 6 year old daughter.
Preferably in the evening in the playground behind Mill Run Elementary.

Of course you will be compensated for your time and effort.

Hopefully we can hear back from someone.
    Please call/text 312-622-2648.

Thanks and have a good day!

Do you have training skates? Both my son and I love to rollerblade and we have training skates and would love to help you. My son is 13 and both he and I are avid hockey players, both roller and ice. I also have very small (3 wheel) blades as well. We live right next to Mill Run and could easily help. I think the playgrounds are smooth enough.

Thank you Dave. We found a college freshman who is home for the summer to teach her. We had a couple of lessons last week. Will request your help if needed some other time. I appreciate the offer especially coming from a fellow member in the community.

Hello, I know this is an old post but I am researching rollerblading for my 11 yr old special need child and was hoping to get some help here. @Dave, what is training skates? Is it where you have two wheels in the back like this https://www.walmart.com/ip/Kids-Tra...-Skates-Roller-Skates/750204364?selected=true. Or like skates with 4 wheels (2 in front and 2 in back)?
Please let me know what would you recommend. Thanks in advance!

Yes, those are what I was talking about. The ones I have are for smaller kids, but those ones from Walmart should fit an 11yr old. It is easier to start with those and then switch over to real rollerblades. Also, the new pavement at Mill Run's playgrounds is great for skating. I was out there with my kids playing hockey and it worked great.
