Today I pulled out 3 of these shrubs as they had gotten too big for their spot. I wrapped the roots in plastic bags to try to keep them from getting too dry. I hate to kill plants so I hope someone can give them a new home.

If you're game for some free landscape plants, pick them up from curb (21321 Hidden Pond Pl). You'll need to get them planted asap - or put them into a bucket of water TODAY at the least.

I did break some roots getting them out, but there's a chance they'll survive if replanted soon, and be sure they're watered through the summer - a little TLC until they get established.

If they croak, at least all you have invested is digging a hole and some water. They'll get really yellow with lots of sun - don't prune or hedge-trim them - let them continue naturally for the best look.

    Help yourself if interested.
