For Sale Troop 997 Popcorn Fundraiser

    A note from my son, who is a Scout in Troop 997.

    I am asking for your support in the Scouts BSA annual fundraiser in partnership with Trails End popcorn.

    Ashburn’s Scouts BSA Troop 997 is an active Troop with almost 75 Scouts. My Troop had a great year before the coronavirus, hiking, camping, visiting historic sites, and laying wreaths in the local Civil War cemetery. Even during the pandemic, Troop members are advancing in rank and earning merit badges, with hopes of achieving the ultimate rank of Eagle Scout. Just recently, my Troop collected over 1,400 lbs. of food for the Dulles South Food Pantry. An article documenting our food drive was also featured on the NCAC Scouter Digest. We have more great plans going forward but need some support to help with equipment and regalia purchases and other camping fees. Would you consider backing Troop 997?

    The link below takes you to my account at Trails End. You can have various popcorn items and and single-cup coffee K-Cups delivered to your home. If you prefer, your support can send some popcorn to our brave military overseas. Regardless of which you pick, most of the funds come right back to my local Scouts BSA Council, and to Troop 997. Since a lot of fundraising was put on hold this year, there is a larger payout to Troops for all online sales through August 15. Please consider helping if you can.
