Dr. Phong Nguyen. He has offices in Reston and Landsowne. He's on the Washingtonian Top Doctor list. I've been seing him for 10+ years and have been very happy.

I see Dr. Claudia Saba, and have for a couple of years. Initially I hated her office staff, and found her only "meh". This year they seem better, and my last two appointments I have felt like she genuinely cared and was supportive. I'm not quite sure I am recommending her....but may be worth a try. My oncologist thinks very highly of her.

I've been going to Dr Nguyen also for several years. He and Dr Saba are in the same practice. He's good but you wait awhile when you get to his office for your appt. I can't say anything about the staff at Landsdowne but they can't be worse than the staff in Reston. My next appt. is in Landsdowne so hopefully this staff is better

Reviving this thread for updates. Please explain why you would or would not recommend the doctor or medical practice. Thanks!

Does anyone have experience with Dr. Gospodinoff? I believe he/she is in the same practice as Drs. Saba and Nguyen.

I've used Dr. Odutola for about 4 years now. She is in Landsdowne. She takes time to listen to what you are saying. Doesn't look at the clock. I have to wait to see her many times however, I know she is giving another patient the time and care they need.

I'm looking for a doctor for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). I'm wondering if the recommendations here are still valid. Can you still endorse the doctors?:
    • Dr. Phong Nguyen
    • Dr. Claudia Saba
    • Dr. Odutola
    • any other doctor recommendations?
    Your input/thoughts/recommendations are appreciated. Thanks.

I've been seeing Dr Odutola for 10 years - she's a great doctor and spends the time needed to listen to what's going on. She will treat you for how you feel - not just blood work which is great. She never rushes you, and genuinely listens to how you're feeling and follows up on messages when needed. I will say that she is always running behind and it drives me crazy. However, she spends so much time with me and genuinely cares and although I'm frustrated by the time she walks into the exam room, I immediately remember why I see her and she is definitely worth my time waiting. It's hard to get an appointment (especially as a new patient) and you may have to wait awhile. That can become an issue if you have an appointment that needs to be changed also. Frustrating, but again, she's worth it.

I did initially go to Dr Saba's office - but was really turned off by the office staff so moved to Dr Odutola. That was a long time ago though, and they may be different now.
