Has anyone noticed a return of the Turkey Buzzards? I believe a remediation was done earlier this or sometime last year. I do not readily recall. Just curious.

I was driving west on old Waxpool (near Waxpool elementary) and saw 2 giants vultures on the roof of a house - unfortunately they had left their usual signature activities on the roof, so seems this may not have been their first visit. I will be keeping a more close eye out in Southern Walk now to see if they are looking for new homes.

The USDA worked with the HOA and Hillside Elem to drive them out of the area. For the moment it appears to have worked as I haven't seen any roosting over on Harvest Green where they had been just a few months ago.

They have settled on our roof a couple of times near Mill Run but there was a fox carcass in the area. Banging pots and pans scared them away and I cleared the carcass. None have returned...
