Does our HOA allow Home based business? I have front door neighbor running some kind of business and daily there is lots of traffic and this is nuisance within our street. Twice, someone damaged my mailbox. Luckily no kid was injured. Since I am paying into, how can I prevent this kind of issue/nuisance?

Kiran, I found this old link regarding a preschool / childcare center being operated from a residence. https://www.broadlandshoa.org/hoafo...ictions-on-home-based-businesses-merged.8475/

I don't know if there are really any restrictions but I'm sure someone will clarify.

Our street has a home based daycare with heavy cars morning and evening. They also have visitors parking on the throughway of our narrow street near the street entrance/exit. There have been near misses as cars entering and cars trying to exit have to maneuver around these parked cars and nearly collide. It's caused talk by the residents living on our street but the HOA refuses to add a "no parking" sign (our street is HOA owned.)

Home businesses are allowed in Broadlands. You must have your county permit and must submit your request to the HOA for approval.

Thanks for the reply, we are worried about grass 6 in tall, but not safety of the kids and property, bummer! Has someone looked into changing HOA bylaws?
