Has anyone gotten a stone patio recently? (I am looking for 14' X 16' brick paver type of patio) and have gotten one quote recently this weekend and was floored at the price quoted. Am looking for reputable and reliable contractors who will do it for a very reasonable cost. Im planning to call some more but thought to ask for some referrals or recommendations. I did look on the forum but looks like some of the postings are a few years old...am looking for more recent work.

    Thanks!!!

We used Holloway a couple of years back for a paver patio with stone knee walls/stairs. We are really happy with the patio that they had built for us and highly recommend. They were middle of the road compared to the different places we looked at as far as pricing goes.

Many thanks to all...Keep these recommendations coming as I am sure that there are bound to be other residents who are considering getting patios this summer/fall. The information is very helpful!!!

We just had a patio put in a couple of months ago. I got four quotes and was amazed at the difference in prices. I went with Long Fence after doing a bit of negotiating. They did an excellant job! I'm very happy. If you would like a pic, I can email you one.

Construction costs are at their highest. Suppliers were caught unprepared during the pandemic and have not caught up yet.

As a do it yourself project, it will cost about 1k in materials for a 10x10 paver deck. IF they're charging you upwards of 3k they are taking you for a ride.

Thanks this is very useful information. Maybe I will do mine myself. It's not technically challenging but a bit intimidating.
