I use tire & auto for small things like oil changes because of the convenience and haven't had any issues. Anything else I take to Fallon as I have also had a good experience there and prefer to give them my money for things like the timing belt replacement.

I've been to VA Tire in Southern Walk twice, both for a flat tire repair because they were so close to where I live. In the first instance, I was told that the tires were "defective", and even though I bought the tires from them they insisted on charging me for a "bead seal" fix. The 2nd time was for a nail puncture, which they were unable to fix, so I had to take the tire elsewhere.

They are a tire store that can't fix tires. That was my last visit.

My favorite experience was when they advertised "we will meet or beat any price."
I had gotten a really good price from Firestone (now NTB) in Ashburn Farm. They gave me the price in writing, with all fees and services included.
Since VA Tire is in Broadlands, I would prefer the convenience of a closer location and partonizing a Broadlands business.
They sold the exact same model of tire. They refused to match the price. I asked to speak to a manager who also refused to match it.
I mentioned the slogan on the wall behind him: "We will meet or beat any competitor's price."
He commented that the Firestone deal was a promotion they were running, and they simply would not do it for that price.
So, Firestone now has all my tire business.

I had a break down on my Truck, took it to VA tire in Broadlands, they fixed it but when I drove away I heard something fall off my truck. Turns out they left some bolts off a critical part. Luickily I was able to return and they fixed it. I'm not too sure about them, I 've been going to Fallon for about 3 or 4 years now, and most pleased with Fallon for sure.

I recently saw some small shiny objects in the intersection of Wynridge and VA Tire and Auto. Upon a closer inspection, they turned out to be several LUG NUTS! Oops.

I've only used them for state inspections and a few oil changes. I haven't had any issues with them trying to upsell. They've definitely taken much longer than expected a few times, but I'm within walking distance of the location, so it didn't really bother me.

Fallon was FAST with the state inspection- They did it ALOT faster than Va Tire- I’m not going back to Va Auto tire anymore as they make too many mistakes, more costly, trying to upsell me (they refused to repair my tire which Fallon did!), and they take too long to do the job- I do my own oil changes so no biggie with that— so Fallon is it for me-

Went to VA Tire & Auto for an oil change just this week solely for convenience sake. They tried to upsell me on a bunch of stuff that they admitted the car didn't need but my mileage dictated their list. I politely declined. Like others have stated, Fallon gets my real work. No upsell, and fast service.
