Need Advice Convert Two Garage Doors To One

I was thinking of converting our 2 garage doors to one big door. I don't seem to find anything in our "Guidelines by Projects" section for it and was wondering if anyone has gone through this process before and could help me out here. Also recommendation on good company to replace it on a resonable price would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

First thing you need to verify is that the partition between your 2 doors is not load bearing.

 

Hi T8erman, I did verify that it is not load bearing. Do you recommend going the route of finding a garage door replacement company to do a feasiblity study and then approach HOA for approval, so should I get an approval before calling in the company.

 

Any good contracting company will handle the hoa for you. You may need a contractor who then subs a garage door company depending on the complexity of the work.
