Pavement Technical Solutions, Inc. (PTS) is an engineering firm specializing in pavement design, evaluation, and testing, based in Broadlands. We are consistently involved in diverse projects located throughout the United States as well as in the South Pacific, Caribbean, Europe, and Asia.

Location: Work remotely from home but must be willing to travel to project sites, as required.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Pavement/Civil Engineer. Our main office is in Broadlands; however, this is a remote work position.

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Roadway and airfield design
• Civil sitework plans and specifications
• Perform pavement engineering evaluation and design computations
• Perform Pavement Condition Index (PCI) surveys
• Utilize PAVER to develop Pavement Management Systems
• Utilize FAA software BAKFAA and FAARFIELD
• Develop pavement engineering reports
• Occasional travel to project locations for meetings and/or field evaluations

The minimum requirements of this position include the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or equivalent
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• Minimum three (3) years relevant experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:

• Experience using the following software: PAVER, PCASE, BAKFAA, FAARFIELD, AutoCAD, ArcMap, Excel

Additional Requirements:

• Must pass a background check
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must be capable of air travel
• Must either possess a current U.S. passport or be capable of obtaining a U.S. passport

Annual Salary: Expected to be $80,000 – $110,000 and is dependent on experience.
