Did anyone have any concerns over spraying the toxic sludge onto the streets? I assume this is a coal tar based product they are using at the smell is unbearable. It's in my house, on my clothes etc... In a few years when cancer cases rise in the area, ask yourself why. Can this be stopped and an alternative considered?

The list goes on... just google it.

Without seeing the MSDS, one can only guess that it is coal tar based and is toxic. It entered the house and made me cough and gag. I was surprised to see so many neighbors out walking with their dogs.

It's a sure way to save the Chesapeake too.

They offer several different products. Did you confirm Broadlands used Delta Mist?

Of course it's bad stuff. So is asphalt when it's put down. So is car exhaust and everything else you breathe in day-to-day. It's not you who should be concerned with the relatively low level of VOCs in the air, it's the poor guys applying the stuff - the one who is REALLY up close and personal with it....

I hope this isn't the same method used the last time. We had road grit that never went away all over the place.

I think you're talking about the slurry seal that VDOT applied on some of their roads. That was not applied by the HOA and is not a product that we use.
