I think they meant Dr. Robert Wilson (Family Practice), not Christine Wilson (Pediatrics). That is a great website and I use it a lot.

Hmmm, I have always used the .org site and when I thought I was verifying that the .com didn't work, it didn't... But today, I see it is valid. I am sure it could not have been me making a typo, it MUST have been something with Openband! :)

I had the worst experience with Dr. Wilson's office. I had severe lower back pain and went there to find out what am I having because he is our primary care physician. They were so non caring. They did not examine me and asked me to go and have x-ray and physical therapy without even diagnosing me. After waiting for 3 days...without any calls, I called them to find that they did not to have anything back from the imaging center. On Saturday I went myself and got the report from the imaging center and ran back to there office, the doctor there looked carelessly at the report and said that I have osteoarthritis. When i tried to understand more about this disease, she said we are closing, if you want more information go to the internet and recommended any over the counter pain killer. They literally closed the door on my face I found out later that x-ray is not the right procedures for back pain, and that they should have refered me to orthopeadic who can decide whether I need physical therapy or not.

We are leaving this office forever.

I second that. The other two doctors in that practice are awesome too. They know us by name, love that!

I will also give my kudos for Dr. Wilder of Broadlands Family Practice. I switched over to them last year b/c in my previous doctors office I never met a doctor after 3 years with them-only a nurse practitioner (the doctors were always booked up months in advance). Now when I'm sick, I can get in that day, and I have always seen a doctor. That is a great practice!

I love that about them too. We've seen Dr. Rodriguez and really liked him a lot. We haven't seen Dr. Wilder yet but we've talked to her on the phone and she was great. The nurses are the best too- they're so friendly.

Ok. I guess I'm the one with the negative Broadlands Family Practice experience. I also thought the doctors were great. But their front office tried to charge me a $25 bounced credit card fee for a $1.25 charge. The credit card had plenty of funds, so it was some mistake on their side. I believe the woman I dealt with was Kary. She was very rude and after getting the credit card company on the phone with her I finally convinced her to drop the fee. I told her I would not be back and she was fine with that. I hold a grudge. I now use Dr. Walsh's office.

I know it's already been said but I feel I need to second the endorsement of Dr. Cohn at Broadlands Family Practice. He is patient, listens carefully and makes you feel comfortable. All rare qualities these days -- truly one of the best doctors I've ever gone to.

I would have taken up the matter with the office manager or one of the doctors.

Dr Cohn is my doc, from the Broadlands Family Practice. He and his staff have been awesome! My first time in there I was diagnosed with testicular cancer and he referred me to an awesome urologist and oncologist and I got all taken care of in like 5 days. Needless to say I'm cancer-free for a year now! 8)

I also really like the high-tech wireless notepads they have, and the electronic transmission of prescriptions...
