I havent seen that anyone has had any luck selling cars here, but I thought Id try before I start advertising. All of the info should be on the site.
    Thanks...

You've chosen a great replacement car. Make sure you get the Nav option.

Thanks! Do you have a TL? At first I wasnt looking into the Nav, but I did some more research and found it was probably the best Nav out there, then couple that with voice commands and touch screen and other "nicetys".....it was a no brainer.

The newer TL is fine but the older TL-S had tranny problems. Heard too many stories about them. I was about to buy one in 2001 until I heard about the problem. The new TL is pretty nice except it's wrong wheel drive.

The nav is awesome in the TL, coupled with voice command and Bluetooth. I use it all the time.

I used to think the same way. I thought it was "just" a nav device. I found out otherwise. It does much more than that and the nav option also includes some other upgrades to the car than just the nav device. It includes upgraded tires (dont ask how they came up with that), it includes a neat cooling feature for the hvac. When the sun is on one side of the car it gets warmer on that side for the passengers, well, with the nav option, the hvac system automatically increases the cooling on that side of the car where the sun is hitting....crazy crazy isnt it...:)
Here are some other things the nav option will give you:

I too agree the rear drive car would be better - but only for handling purposes. I was also considering the G35, but opted for the TL because of the front wheel drive. The front wheel drive provides better fuel economy and more secure driving in the snow and is normally less expensive by a few thousand, whereas the rear drive cars (bmw/g35)do not. Yes the rear drive handles better for performance driving, but at what limits? How often do we need to reach those limits around here. Not very often. I had a 2000 C5 and hardly ever reached those limits :D
In my research (im a car enthusiast) Ive found the TL to be the best bang for the buck in near-luxury performance vehicles. My personal opinion is that dollar for dollar, it outshines the bmw 330 and Infiniti G35 in features, functionality, asthetics, ergonomics and reliability. The only downside I can see is the front wheel drive vs rear wheel drive, but that is only a downside based on one's needs. Not everyone needs a rear wheel drive and in my case the front wheel drive was what made the difference in favor of the TL.

I wouldn't wanna be without my nago nav. It's kinda like when cellphones first came out ... people said "How often do you have to make a phone call while away from home", and today we can't live without it. Or computers. Or .... you name it.

I agree, the new TL is a fantastic car! And you're right, you can't really tell the difference between a decent front wheel drive car and a rear wheel drive car these days except at the upper handling limits and who is going there? The added security in the rain and snow more than makes up for the tiny difference. I think the new TL (and RL) is one of the most esthetically pleasing cars on the road today. And the reliability is awesome. Enjoy!

Just drive down Elden Street in Herndon and you'll see enough 'modified' junkers to create your own photo album! :D
