I remember Shoney's Big Boy...there was one close to my house then one day they took down that awful statue and noone knew why, but all were thankful.

Wasn't the actual Big Boy sandwich just like a Big Mac?

Nothing like seeing those red and white checkered overalls from your back window in the morning, huh?

The Big Boy®* -- The Original Double-Decker Hamburger
Delicious 100% pure ground beef in two patties with American cheese, lettuce and our special sauce on a sesame seed bun.

    Close enough.

    Not to be confused with:

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, all on a sesame seed bun!

Slight correction from a former employee:

Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun!

From a former employee: the special sauce was thousand island dressing.

So Homer, what have you been up to for all these months not posting? Surely you found some other hobby while you were away? =)

You bet, high school job. And that makes me more of an expert on the need for patient healthcare than Barbara or Donna.[}:)]

Actually, since Mcd's was always trying to save money, it was more like 327 Islands. ARGH!

Gosh AFGM, I detect sour grapes...I guess those years at Mcdonalds didn't teach you much...the customer's always right, and I don't believe you asked me if I wanted fries with your opinion.:D
