Lawyer Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good lawyer? We will be filing a lawsuit against Miller & Smith. I'm not even sure what kind of lawyer we need. Thanks!

 

There is a law firm in Leesburg called Ritenour, Paice and Mougin Boule (sp?). I am pretty sure they deal in real estate law. At least you could get a free estimate (I think). Their number is 703-777-6161. You could start there. You could probably ask them for a referral as well... A little healthy competition never hurt anyone.

Just my $.02, if you're planning on taking someone to court in Loudoun, you are well served to use a local Loudoun lawyer-ever heard the saying "just the good ole boys"?

 

Thanks so much for your feedback! I appreciate it and will give them a call. I hate the idea of taking anyone to court but I also expect to get what I paid for...and that's not happening!

 

Here's another one for you: Richard Saunders of Sevila, Saunders, Huddleston & White in Leesburg was very helpful with getting us out of a contract we had on a townhouse. After we had made similar arguments to the builder several times with no luck, we finally turned to a lawyer. He wrote a very detailed letter and we got our deposit back immediately. Has anyone used the lawyer who advertises in the Broadlands newsletter (wills, estate planning, etc) who will come out to your home and is local here in Broadlands/Ashburn?

 

Talk to dunlap and grubb, ask for Torick Dino - he is a great lawyer.. dglegal.com. They are in leesburg

 

I second Rick Saunders. A realtor recommended him to me a long time back. She said something like "Oh you need someone good. You need Rick Saunders." We ended up not needing him, but I was glad to get the recommendation.
