Wife did. Food was good (but very large portions, even with eating leftovers had to toss out half of the meals most of the time).

It's $155 for eight meals or $195 for 12 meals.

I did it with a group of friends and the social aspect of it was fun. I have a family of five, so I don't think the portions were too large. Each meal pretty much feeds the crew.

The food is so-so. I would do it again with friends because it's a good time not because I felt like the food was delicious and/or convenient. But I like to cook so having premade meals isn't a big thing for me.

My wife and the group of friends she went with loved it. We enjoyed most of the meals prepare and none of them were really "un-eatable" :). She is going to go back again this month with some people from work.

They are also Weight Watcher friendly. Pretty sure they track points.

What is amazing is that people feel they have to comment on what OTHER people spend their money on.

It is not a bad deal at all. Alot of the meals are not your daily, boring, routine meals that most families tend to have over and over again. You cook 8 meals in 1 night in a few hours and then just have to re-heat at home. This helps keep the "food-preparer" from spending countless hours in the kitchen cooking. For the working mother (I know I am stereotyping), this is a god-send. Less time in the kitchen means more "family time".

They also have all the ingredients you need, including the specialty ones that most people do not stock in the pantries. So you save some money not having to buy a unique spice that you use once or twice then throw away after 3-4 years!

And, since most people seem to do it in groups, they have FUN!

Let me get this straight...for $155 you get the privlege of preparing eight meals. If you're single, cool...but if you have a family of three, those eight meals and $155 don't stretch very far.

Seems like a BS buisness designed to suck the disposable income out of you while promoting some faux 'time saving' crap to make you feel guilty about cooking in your own home. Yech.

It's eight meals of 6 servings each. 48 individual meals.

I'm a working mom too and I'd rather spend my hard earned money on family vacations. I like to cook and create new recipes for my family, which the internet is loaded with.

I think you're confusing whining with criticism.

Example of whining: "$4 for a cup of coffee?! Well, allright since everyone else is!"
Example of criticism: "$4 for a cup of coffee?! Go F yourself..."
