Our OTA reception of that was flawless. Openband issue? We watched and dumped the epsidode over the weekend.

I am getting a little fed up with the show. I think they make it up as the go along. I was hoping to see more answers this year, but just get more questions.

I agree....not really into the show this year - if I'm not doing anything at the time it's on - I'll watch....but don't really care one way or another. It's too bad

My ABCHD was not working properly on Wednesday when LOST was on.

I really don't like the Anna character that they've introduced this year. It's hard to believe all of the other passengers would take her abuse.

If it's an Openband signal you had a problem with, submit and get a service issue number and request a credit for service for that day. call Openband immediately if there are ANY problems with your Television reception and ask to have a service issue number and request a credit.

If you missed an episode of LOST- you can download it for $1.99 on Apple's iTunes Music Store. I've only done it once, but it's a pretty good gig. AND, with the fiber here w/ Openband, it downloads really fast.

BTW, I really don't consider downloading network television illegal. It comes to your house free of charge anyhow...it shouldn't matter how it gets there.

I'm not sure what link was posted, but it probably had more than network television. :)

The link I gave didn't have illegal content but I can understand it getting taken down. That site has already been attacked by the MPAA and survived... Now following links off the page I posted might get you to some iffy content. It's a great site for TV shows though if you missed an episode of something :)

it is illegal, and I'm sure with the latest supreme court ruling, I'm sure the copywrite holders are gearing up for yet another round at going at the distribution points.

Just because the TV show comes to your house, doesn't make it yours to freely redistribute. Same way you couldn't record the TV show, make DVDs and sell/give away at will. People do it, but its still illegal.

I have a replay tv. I record the tv shows and watch them when I want. It's a commercial product available right now the same as Tivo. That's not illegal.

I can also pull those down to my PC and burn them to DVD. Thats not illegal either. The line is sumdged these days though. no telling where the Supreme court will go in the future.

Oh, I honestly didn't realize when I posted the site that it might be iffy content. Would not have posted it if I had. Was just trying to be helpful :)

with the advent of recent laws.. its also illegal to be the holder/reciever of illegally copied materials. Used to be only illegal to distribute it.. so law enforcement could only go after the 'senders', now all the players are at risk.

Enforcement in this area of course is highly variable.. but its kinda like speeding, some people go their entire life without being caught :)
