More likely spring or early summer 2006. I think it's progressing quite well...

    dcdavis,

Do you know the timeline for southbound LCP toward 50? I know the Toll Brothers are building a road off Ryan Rd. but I think that is Claiborne.

    Thanks!

Toll Brothers is supposed to build a portion of Loudoun County Parkway from about where the old section of Ryan Road meets Loudoun County Parkway. Even with what they have proffered the road would not be complete to Route 50. There's a small portion that would remain. Brambleton Group has proffered that section as part of their adult active rezoning. I don't believe their rezoning application has been approved yet. Don't know the timetable on either section though.

The 28 freeway web sites shows the completion of LCP from Route 7 south to the area near the Redskins park, back by Dominion Brewery. It does not show parts of LCP south of there.

I think the answer for the morning traffic might be a change to the traffic light sequencing on LCP (lower priority to LCP northbound, higher priority to Waxpool eastbound) combined with a protected right filter from LCP (northbound) to Waxpool (for the AOL traffic), and a lane shift for the Waxpool traffic (move lanes one and two (before LCP) to lanes one and two after LCP).

The evening traffic is a wee bit more difficult, an extension to Gloucester might be an answer but reducing the West Virginia bound traffic might help also.
